# Changelog, April and May 2025: better images and JSON-LD

A quieter stretch, but an important one: richer image metadata and structured data with schema-dts. Here is what April and May added.

April and May were mostly dependency upkeep. Two changes stand out, and both make your pages easier for machines to understand.

## Image fields carry more meaning

Image fields gained a media attribute, and SEO metadata handling was updated to use it. Better input in the Studio means better previews when a page is shared.

## Typed JSON-LD

Structured data arrived with `schema-dts` and dedicated JSON-LD components. Because the types come from the schema.org definitions, a malformed property is a type error rather than a silent miss in a rich result.

## Upkeep

Turborepo moved to 2.5 and visual editing, the Studio and Next.js all received updates. Not glamorous, but a starter is only useful if it is current.

Structured data that type-checks is structured data that stays correct.
