# Changelog, June 2025: deploys that behave and cleaner pages

June removed hard-coded Studio hostnames, fixed preview URLs in deployed Studios and cleaned up page data and SEO handling. Here is how.

Most starter pain shows up on the first deploy, not the first `pnpm dev`. June went after exactly that.

## Deploy without editing code

The Sanity Studio hostname is now read from an environment variable instead of being hard-coded. A deployed Studio also stopped pointing its preview at localhost. Clone, set your env, deploy. The README and CLI messages were updated to walk you through data import and deployment.

## Cleaner data, clearer SEO

Fetch functions now accept a `stega` parameter, so you control when visual editing metadata is encoded. Page components got cleaner data handling, and SEO metadata generation was made consistent across them.

## Semantics and accessibility

The footer was restructured with proper semantics, components gained better accessibility, and external links on feature card icons work again. ESLint also stopped linting Next.js build output.

If the first deploy needs a code change, the starter has failed. Now it does not.
