New features are fun. March was the month after, where the things that annoy you in production got fixed.
Performance
A dedicated performance pass trimmed what the frontend does on each page. Rich text also stopped duplicating content, and its classes were tidied up.
No more dark mode flash
Refreshing a page in dark mode no longer flashes white first. Small, but it is the difference between a site that feels solid and one that feels cheap.
Better reading on long posts
The table of contents now handles headings more reliably, and the mobile navbar and its columns were refactored for smoother behaviour on small screens. Featured blog posts were fixed too.
Schemas that say what they need
Required fields are now enforced in schema definitions. Editors find out a field is missing in the Studio, not when a page renders empty. Image URLs also gained a generate helper in the URL builder.
Validation in the Studio beats a blank section in production. Every time.
